MySpace is planning to relaunch its profile pages to focus on a user’s news feed.
The revamped profile pages will place the news as their main focus and link to users’ other social networks and accounts on sites such as Flickr.
MySpace executive Sean Percival announced via his Twitter account last week that it was planning an update, and previewed the new look on his own account.
The company plans to unveil more details about the profiles in the next few weeks after getting feedback from users.
A MySpace spokesman said, “We’re testing a new look and feel of our site among users and the response so far has been positive. As always, we’re interested in feedback from our community as we roll out enhancements to the user experience and look forward to sharing more details in the coming weeks.”
